2019 Year In Review

2019 was a huge year for me.

I got to cross some things off of my bucket list – some travel related and some not travel related.

I also learned more about myself (if that was even possible), started my first post-grad job, moved into my own apartment and even adopted two cats of my own. However, there are still some things I didn’t do like: work out as much as I wanted to or even read a book. I also went into 2019 thinking I was going to travel every single month, and that stopped after month 8.

Still, I’m grateful for the new lessons, friends and experiences this year has brought me. My 2019 Year in Review is as follows….

I traveled roughly 25,000 miles

I visited 8 states

I visited 6 countries – 5 of these being new to me

I flew on 13 different aircrafts

I wrote 16 blog posts (my goal for the year was originally 20)

I gained about 15 WordPress blog followers, about 80 Bloglovin followers and about 100 Pinterest followers (thank you guys so much!)

My most commented blog was “How to Deal with a Layover in New Jersey”

My most “liked” blog was “7 pictures that prove Nebraska Sunsets can’t be beat”

My most viewed blog was “Utah’s Arches”

What are my goals for 2020?

Well, I’m glad you asked! I don’t plan on living by such a strict travel schedule and letting it consume my every waking thought…but I do still have some travel goals I hope to accomplish by the time the year is at its end.

I hope to write 20 blogs (yes, trying this again)

I hope to collaborate with 3 other bloggers (email me if you’re interested!)

I hope to travel to 3 states

I hope to travel to 3 new countries

I hope to make 3 travel videos

This blog in itself is an accomplish because it’s my 50th post!  ♥  I can never tell you how much it means to me to have people take time out of their day to read my stories, thank you forever.

  1. Nice post, just found you, I’ll check out your posts. I am from the United States but have traveled more outside of the U.S., I’m hoping to change that soon.
